Home & Command Center
Your workspace is where WorkMate shows you everything happening in your business at a glance. Three screens work together to keep you informed and in control.
What It Is
The Home & Command Center is your operations dashboard. Instead of checking email, calendar, tasks, and multiple apps, one place shows you:
- What your agents are doing right now — which WorkMates are active and what stage they're at
- What needs your input — questions waiting for answers, ideas ready to review, outputs waiting for approval
- What finished today — verified results from completed work
- What's stuck — tasks that stopped moving and need your attention
Key Screens
1. Home Screen
Your first look when you log in. At a glance:
- Active agents: How many WorkMates are working together right now
- Questions waiting: Items your WorkMates need you to answer (improves your Brain and future recommendations)
- Handoffs active: How many agents are collaborating on tasks without cluttering your inbox
- Ideas to review: Agent suggestions you can move forward, expand, or dismiss
- Output reviews: Finished drafts waiting for your decision
The Home screen shows mission progress cards for each active task, plus an action rail on the right with quick access to your Inbox, Ideas, and Approvals.
2. Today's Operating Floor
This screen gives you a detailed view of what's running, what's waiting, and what's stuck:
- Running missions: Work actively moving forward
- Finished missions: Completed, verified work from today
- Stalled missions: Work that stopped moving (even if no error message appeared)
- Waiting on you: Tasks blocked by something you need to do — answer a question, approve, or provide information
- Verified outcomes: Count of completed results by type (emails, documents, social posts, etc.)
The floor shows when each mission last moved, so you can spot stuck work quickly.
3. Daily Summary
A short morning briefing that collects what happened yesterday and what needs attention today from:
- Inbox: New messages from WorkMates and team
- Calendar: Today's upcoming events and meetings
- Tasks: Overdue items and what's due today
- Brain updates: New knowledge or changes to your workspace knowledge base
- Finance: Financial updates and summaries (if enabled)
- Social approvals: Pending social media posts or responses waiting for your review
You choose which data sources to include when you set up your briefing. Once configured, it runs every morning automatically.
