Integrations
Connect your calendar, email, social accounts, website, Canva, and other tools to WorkMate AI. Integrations let your WorkMate agents read, draft, and manage work across platforms—all with your approval.
What integrations do
Integrations are secure connections between WorkMate and your existing business tools. They let your WorkMate agents:
- Read information from connected platforms (emails, calendar events, social posts, files)
- Draft replies, posts, and calendar events for your review
- Publish only after you approve—nothing goes out without your say
Your agents use these connections to be more helpful. For example, Innie Inbox can read your Gmail and suggest replies in your tone. Social Sal can check your Instagram and Facebook to plan captions and posts. Chase Charlie can see your calendar to schedule follow-ups at the right time.

How to connect
- Go to Integrations in your WorkMate workspace.
- Browse the catalog and find the platform you want to connect.
- Click Connect.
- You'll be prompted to log in to that platform and approve WorkMate's access.
- Grant permissions for what you're comfortable with—for example, "selected Gmail labels" or "calendar read-only."
- The connection is now live. Your agents can start using it.
What permissions to expect
Each integration asks only for the permissions it needs:
- Email (Gmail, Outlook): Usually "read mail" and "draft" but never sends without a separate confirmation step.
- Social (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn): Read your profiles and posts, but publish only after you approve.
- Calendar: Read your calendar and create approved events only.
- Files (Google Drive): Access only selected folders and files you choose.
- Canva: Create designs with your brand kit.
You're in control. If an integration asks for permissions you're uncomfortable with, you don't have to grant them. Some features may not work without full access, but that's up to you.
Troubleshooting
"Connection expired"
OAuth tokens (your secure login) expire after a while. If you see this:
- Go to Integrations.
- Find the connection and click Reconnect.
- Log in again.
"Account disconnected"
If a connected platform logged you out or changed your password:
- Go to Integrations.
- Click Reconnect on that integration.
- Log in with your current credentials.
Agents can't see my data
If you've just connected an integration but agents still aren't finding your files, emails, or posts:
- Wait 30 seconds and refresh. Integration data syncs in the background.
- Check that you granted the right permissions (e.g., selected the correct Gmail labels).
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting.
I connected a platform but don't want it anymore
- Go to Integrations.
- Find the connection and click Disconnect.
- WorkMate won't access that platform anymore.
- (Optional) Log in to the platform's settings and revoke WorkMate's permission to be extra sure.
I don't see the platform I want to connect
Some platforms are coming soon (TikTok, X, Pinterest, and others). Check back soon—we add new integrations regularly. Alternatively, chat with your WorkMate team to request a platform.
Privacy and security
- You're in control. Revoke access to any integration at any time.
- We don't store your passwords. Integrations use industry-standard OAuth, so WorkMate never sees your login credentials.
- Approvals are mandatory. For publishing platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube), nothing goes public without your approval.
- Data stays yours. Disconnecting an integration stops access immediately. We don't keep a copy of your data after you disconnect.
