Modules & Packages

Your WorkMate workspace comes with core features built in, and you can extend it with specialized add-on modules and premium packages. This guide explains how to explore, add, and manage the modules and packages your business needs.

What it is

WorkMate offers three types of functionality:

Base features come with every plan—email management, content drafting, AI agents, workspace chat, and automation basics.

Add-on modules are specialized tools you can activate when your team needs them: voice intake (Echo), scheduling (Cal), document management (Legal), real estate tools (Estate), social media planning (Social), website building (Web), and others. Each module has its own workspace door, release status, and pricing tier.

Packages & bundles combine modules into themed groups—for example, an "All-in-One" bundle includes Design, Web, Social, and SEO together at a bundled price. Your current plan and active modules appear on the Packages screen.

Finding and adding modules

Explore available modules

In your WorkMate workspace, go to Add-on Modules (in the Marketplace section). You'll see:

  • Included helpers – smaller tools that work alongside your core features (light automation, basic scheduling).
  • Specialist add-ons – purpose-built modules like Social, Studio for media processing, SEO, and others.
  • Full WorkMate modules – complete workspaces like Estate, Legal, Design, and Web with their own team rooms and workflows.

Each module tile shows a brief description and an action button (Open, Upgrade, or a status indicator if verification is pending).

Add a module to your workspace

  1. Browse to the module you want.
  2. If you see an Open button, the module is already enabled—click to enter it.
  3. If you see an Upgrade button, your current plan doesn't include it. Click to see pricing and activate it, or contact support if you'd like to trial it first.
  4. Once activated, the module appears on your main sidebar and in your My Modules list.

Some new modules may show Verification pending—this means WorkMate is finalizing the module for your account. You'll be notified when it's ready to use.

Managing what you own

View your active modules

Go to My Modules to see every module your workspace currently owns, along with its status. For each module, you'll see:

  • Module name – the name of the tool (e.g., WorkMate Web, WorkMate Social).
  • Release status – whether it's Ready to use, Pending verification, or temporarily Unavailable. A ready module is fully tested and live.
  • Launch button – click to open the module's workspace door.
  • Status badge – indicates active, trial, or locked/disabled states.

Understand release status

Ready: The module is live and fully available. No surprises—use it normally.

Verification pending: WorkMate is testing the module for your account to ensure it integrates smoothly with your workspace. You'll receive a notification when it's ready.

Unavailable or reason displayed: The module is temporarily offline or has a known issue. Your access hasn't changed—it will be restored as soon as it's fixed.

Trial vs. owned modules

  • Owned modules appear in billing with a license status.
  • Trial modules are time-limited previews. Your workspace will show the trial end date. Once a trial ends, you can renew the module, purchase a license, or stop using it.

Check your current plan

Go to Packages to see confirmed package options including their pricing and included modules. You can review available plans to find one that matches your needs.

Tips

  • Start with one or two modules. Don't activate every module at once. Pick the tools that solve your immediate needs, then add more later as your team grows.
  • Review module billing. Add-on modules appear as line items on your invoice. Go to Billing to see your current modules, costs, and next renewal date.
  • Share module access with your team. Once a module is active, invite team members to use it through SettingsTeam Members. Permission rules are the same as your core workspace.
  • Modules update regularly. New features, security fixes, and improvements roll out continuously. If you see a new option in a module, it's likely a recent upgrade.
  • Contact support if you're unsure. If a module shows "Unavailable" or you think you should have access to a module you don't see, reach out through Support. The team can help troubleshoot or arrange a trial.
